Assistant Project Manager

View Position Details

Summary:

Provide organized, consistent, and effective project management support to designated Project Management Team members and external clients, subcontractors and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– PM software management (Procore)

– Bid Solicitation, clarification, and organization

– Site visits as needed

– Required Document management (Safety Forms, Insurance Certificates, W9)

– Preparing subcontracts

– Managing project schedule

– Creating change orders and purchase orders

– Project document management

– Managing superintendent daily logs and weekly reports

– Submittals/Shop drawing approval and coordination

– Weekly Zoom calls with Superintendent team

– Close-out books

– Scheduling warranty work

– Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications – To perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following qualifications:

  • Education/Experience –
  • 3-5 years in an administrative or management position.
  • Personal Skills –
  • Strong communication skills
  • Spec and blue print reading and understanding
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • High ethical standards
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating a positive attitude
  • Technical Skills –
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong ability to learn new programs and software as necessary

Human Resources Coordinator

Summary – Supports the organization and its employees by providing administrative support in the areas of benefits management, recruitment, and policy maintenance.    

 

Department:  Internal Operations

 

Reports to:  COO/Human Resources Manager

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruiting:

  • Identifies open positions and works with hiring manager to develop required skills, experience level, and qualifications needed to successfully fill the open position.
  • Creates recruitment plan and advertisements to achieve the highest success for applicant sourcing.
  • Screens applicants for best fit for the organization and qualifications.
  • Conducts interviews with hiring manager, makes recommendations for employment
  • Creates and sends job offers and conducts pre-employment screening checks.
  • Conducts onboarding and tracking of initial training requirements.

Retention:

  • Stays connected with all employees to monitor job satisfaction.
  • Receives and responds to employee concerns in a timely manner.
  • Conducts investigations into concerns and reports findings to appropriate manager.
  • Lives and enforces TWC Core Values: Listen, Learn, Lead with Integrity, Fun, Innovative,  Team with a Can-Do Attitude.

Administration:

  • Responsible for the administration and maintenance of benefits programs for the organization.
  • Coordinates with outside agencies to administer benefits programs.
  • Maintains employee personnel files
  • Provides articles, benefit information, employee recognition and other appropriate information for the newsletter.
  • Coordinates and tracks Personal Business Plans and Reviews.
  • Maintains company calendar and vacation tracking.
  • Maintains Employee Handbook and other policy documents.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications – To perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following qualifications:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Personal Skills –
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task, and manage stress appropriately
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating a positive attitude
  • Experience – Human Resource experience preferred, experience in recruiting and/or benefits management is a plus, experience in a construction organization is a plus
