Project Manager

View Position Details
Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for overall project estimating/planning, and scheduling, project cost reporting, and control. The Project Manager also provides technical direction to the on-site Superintendent while ensuring compliance with Owners Contract, Project Documents and TWC Standards.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Effectively communicate with project owner.

– Effectively communicate with subcontractors and suppliers, resolving issues throughout all phases of the construction process including priorities with schedule, budget, and quality standards.

– Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the Owners, TWC Development Consultants, Architects, on-site Superintendent, and subcontractors.

– Monitor the progress of the construction activities with periodic on-site inspections, track potential disputes and claims, procure punch list for the project, perform yearly inspections and resolve any deficiencies

– Supervises multiple on-site Superintendent’s located across the United States.

– Accepts and instills into all projects the philosophy of Listen, Learn then Lead with Integrity

– Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Summary:

Provide organized, consistent, and effective project management support to designated Project Management Team members and external clients, subcontractors and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– PM software management (Procore)

– Bid Solicitation, clarification, and organization

– Site visits as needed

– Required Document management (Safety Forms, Insurance Certificates, W9)

– Preparing subcontracts

– Managing project schedule

– Creating change orders and purchase orders

– Project document management

– Managing superintendent daily logs and weekly reports

– Submittals/Shop drawing approval and coordination

Commercial Construction Traveling Superintendent

Summary – TWC Inc. has a full-time career opportunity as a Commercial Construction Superintendent to assist the Construction Project Team as an onsite Superintendent during the construction phase of projects across the United States.

Education

  • Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
  • Orders procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
  • Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays
  • Confers with supervisory personnel and labor representatives to resolve complaints and grievances within work force
  • Confers with supervisory and engineering personnel and inspectors and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.
  • Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules
  • Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports. Directs workers concerned with major maintenance or reconditioning projects for existing installations.

Carpenter/ Installation Technician

Summary: The Carpenter/Installation Technician installs epoxy flooring, cabinet/casework, countertops, veterinary equipment, and molding at animal care projects sites across the United States.

Department: Superintendent

Reports to: Strategic Business Development Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unload material, equipment, and supplies from the truck to prepare for each workday

  • Demolition of existing flooring as needed

  • Install epoxy flooring experience not required, will train

  • Install cabinets, counter tops, and veterinary equipment (dog cages, kennels, lift tables, surgery tables, etc)

  • Operate handheld and battery-operated tools

  • Perform finish carpentry as needed

  • Work from a kneeling, crouching, or bent over position frequently

  • Sweep, wipe down, and clean up jobsite at the end of the workday

Qualifications to perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following qualifications:

  • Education/Experience:  1 + years’ experience working as a carpenter, concrete finisher, tradesman, or general laborer
  •  Personal Skills:

    Payroll and Licensing Specialist

    View Position Details

    Summary Provide financial and administrative support to the organization. The Payroll and Licensing Specialist is responsible for completing biweekly payroll, monthly, quarterly, and yearly taxes, completing annual W2’s, obtaining the correct license per state, city, and county for each job going into construction, setting up reciprocity tables for all Superintendents per location, setting up withholding and unemployment accounts per state of application and setting up our payroll system with the appropriate taxes. Other duties as assigned.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Payroll:

    • Enter new employees into payroll system and assign an employee number.

    • Keep up to date employee records including:

      o Termination Dates
      o Deduct changes: Health Insurance, Child Support, 401k, etc. o Job State Changes (Sups)

    • Gather timesheets each payroll week and enter time into payroll system.

    • Enter any employee receivables, job cost report changes, etc. for a given payroll week.

    • Print pay stubs and submit payroll to the bank prior to 2:00 PM the Thursday of payroll

      week.

    • Enter payroll taxes/ 401K Securian totals / Verify HSA/Flex logs and update

      Payroll Recap sheet to send to Finance Manager, Accounts Payable and Accounts

      Receivable.

    • Complete annual W2’s

    • Update payroll system annually with UI Rates, 401k limits, salary changes, etc.

    Taxes:

    • Pay monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes and/or file returns for all states per the state’s requirements.

    • Pay unemployment insurance for states where we have employees living.

    • Set up withholding accounts for all new states and set up unemployment accounts if it is

      applicable.

    • Set up payroll system with all state withholding taxes and unemployment taxes.

    • Set up reciprocity tables for every Superintendent based off location.

    • Set up Aatrix with correct states and forms to submit taxes.

    Licensing:

    • Maintain licensing data base by state/city/county giving attention to expiration dates.

    • Ensure proper licensing is in place before estimated project start date.

    • Send in any requirements needed for CSC business filings and pay all invoices.

      Other Duties as Assigned:

      Qualifications – To perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following qualifications:

    • Technical Skills – Proficient with Microsoft Office, PROCORE, SAGE, Lienwaiver.io and strong ability to learn new programs and software as necessary

      • Technical Skills – Proficient with Microsoft Office, PROCORE, SAGE, Lienwaiver.io and strong ability to learn new programs and software as necessary

      • Personal Skills – Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills, ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating a positive attitude

      • Time Management: The ability to meet several weekly deadlines while maintaining accuracy. Strong Organization skills and detail oriented.
