Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated project management from project initiation through completion with client, internal project team, consultants and governing municipal jurisdictions.
  • Preparation of schematic, design development and construction documents utilizing a thorough knowledge of REVIT
  • Preparation of specifications.
  • Coordinate proposals, schedules and document preparations with consulting engineers.
  • Maintain invoices/payments with consulting engineers.
  • Maintain current usage of products

Accountability:

  • Maintain Architectural Licensure in applicable states
  • Review and Process submittals
  • Collaborate with Project Management team
  • Collaborate with draftspersons

Qualifications - To perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Master’s Degree or 5 year Bachelor’s Degree with NCARB registration or the ability to obtain NCARB registration
  • Two years’ experience with REVIT

  • Personal Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in working on multiple projects in various stages of design and construction.
  • Understanding of building construction technology
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent communication skills:  Written and Oral

Traveling Superintendent

  • Oversee all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction, progress, quality control, housekeeping, and daily log;
  • Provide guidance, leadership and direct supervision of site staff, including assistant superintendents, laborers and other construction related personnel;
  • Management of schedule, including weekly preparation of 3-4-week look ahead;
  • Proactively schedule and coordinate all subcontractors to ensure completion of the project in accordance with the project schedule and to ensure that no additional costs are required for completion of work;
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspections;
  • Ensure assigned job site operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards;
  • Demonstrate and maintain effective and open dialogue with the project team regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations and any deviation in the direction of the project;
  • Work in partnership with project management to maintain an updated and accurate project schedule that reflects the changes in project status and that meets the cost and time requirements of the project;
  • Run weekly meetings, including project and subcontractor meetings;
  • RFI's; consisting of the creation of and suggestions on solutions
  • Learning and understanding client needs, wants and standards;
  • Continuously promote positive subcontractor relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors

Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for overall project estimating/planning, scheduling, project cost reporting, and control. The Project Manager also provides technical direction to the on-site Superintendent while ensuring compliance with Owners Contract, Project Documents and TWC Standards.

Department: Project Management

Reports to: Director of Project Management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate with project owner.
  • Effectively communicate with subcontractors and suppliers, resolving issues throughout all phases of the construction process including priorities with schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the Owners, TWC Development Consultants, Architects, on-site Superintendent, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor the progress of the construction activities with periodic on-site inspections, track potential disputes and claims, procure punch list for the project, perform yearly inspections and resolve any deficiencies.
  • Supervises multiple on-site Superintendents located across the United States.
  • Accepts and instills into all projects the philosophy of Listen, Learn, then Lead with Integrity.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: To perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management preferred; or Associates Degree from a trade school with field experience; or five to ten years’ experience with commercial construction in a management role; or combination of education and experience.
